China seeks to maintain power is the equivalence of medals for the future of the Asian Games in Guangzhou will start on Friday, an official of the sport here.
Xiao Tian, deputy head of the Chinese delegation, said that despite their dominance in perennial Asian Championships, China took 16 edition of the event very seriously and I would do very well.
"China won more medals at the recent Asian Games and we hope to repeat this feat in Guangzhou," said Xiao, while in front of reporters.
A total of 35 Olympic gold medalists, including 110-meter hurdler Liu Xiang, as champion and Lin Dan badminton are among the 1,454 members who are the stars of the Chinese delegation.
