
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, said Monday that it has mailed ballot nomination in 0755 five of its members who vote for the Oscar in 2010, or the Oscars, the film honors in the world.
Each year, a few hundred films are hoping to get an Oscar, but only 10 are nominated for best film. For producers and distributors already jockeying for position in the summer, but it is only when the college officially messages ballots, that the real competition starts.
Winning an Oscar for best film, actor, actress, screenwriter, director or in any other category can increase the box office and begin their careers.
2010 Oscars will be presented Feb. 27 in Los Angeles. Nominations for the award will be named Jan. 25.
