
British Open champion Louis Oosthuizen won three-way play-off hole to secure the first title in the African Open in East London Golf Club.
South Africa, who finished at 16-12-276 sank footer on 18 to beat the Spaniard Manuel Quiros and at the end of 23-year-old English-man Chris Wood is hoping the first professional victory.
Oosthuizen said his first victory since the Open at St Andrews in July: "This is a great way to start the season is my first European Tour title in South Africa and I am absolutely ecstatic about it ..
"I look forward to all year, playing half in America and Europe. I'm looking forward to fighting in the two lists of the money."
Defending champion Charl Schwartzel, South Africa, posted a final round 70 to finish joint third, alongside fellow Jaco van Zyl and Steven O'Hara of Scotland at 15.
