
Singer and composer Jessie J reached the top of the Sound of 2011 list, which showcases the best music stars for next year.
Jessie J, real name Jessica Cornish in Romford, Essex, is described in the British response to Rihanna or pink.
The sound of 2011 the list was compiled with the assistance of 160 key music critics, broadcasters and bloggers.
Now in its ninth year, includes former winners Ellie Goulding, Little Boots, Adele, Mika and Corinne Bailey Rae.
Jessie J has enjoyed success as a songwriter, co-author of Miley Cyrus beaten party in the U.S..
The 22-year-old launched his solo career in late 2010, making it the UK's top 30 with his first single Do It Like A Dude.
Signed with Island Records in the UK - the home of Amy Winehouse, U2 and Florence and the Machine - his music is a mixture of urban pop ballads full of melancholy and great attitude.
She played the West End stage at the age of 11 years and spent a year at the School of the Performing Arts Brit in the same year as fellow singers Adele, Katy B and Rox.
Jessie J said she was "overwhelmed" in the top came from the Sound of 2011 list.

Sound of 2011 top five are James Blake and Jamie Woon at the numbers two four respectively, the manufacturer of high-level singers who combine dubstep and soul.
Number three, Vaccines rock have been compared to The Ramones and The Jesus & Mary Chain, while the great voice of chanteuse Clare Maguire has five.
The list was compiled with the advice of more than 160 influential tastemakers in the UK, everyone has their favorite named three new laws.
Participants range from magazine editors and music critics from newspapers to bloggers respected DJs and producers of radio and television.
New artists can not be granted if they were already in the UK Top 20 single or album, or was already famous for any reason, as it appears in the TV talent, or are a member of the band hit it solo.

Last year, Ellie Goulding came at the top of the Sound 2010, and was joined in the Navy, and five diamonds, Delphi, Hurt and drums.
Artists in the top five in previous years have included Florence and the Machine and La Roux (Sound 2009), Adele and Duffy (Sound 2008), Mika and Klaxons (Audio, 2007), Bloc Party and Kaiser Chiefs (Audio 2005) , Keane and Franz Ferdinand (Audio, 2004) and 50 Cent and Dizzee Rascal (Sound 2003).
