Apple said it would publish guidelines used to determine which programs are sold in the App Store to appease criticism of the developers. The company, known for its surveillance products of fans, has been the subject of complaints from companies that have blocked the application at the store. Some developers have complained that the rules seem incompatible.
Some applications have been stalled after the updates apparently minor, or have content deemed inappropriate by Apple. For example, the developer to read later, an application that allows you to save Web pages and read them offline, recently complained that Apple's reasoning for rejecting an update of its application was "contradictory".
"For the first time that we publish in the App Store review guidelines to help developers understand how we review applications submitted," the company said in a statement.
