Dell Inc. is moving thousands of employees from Research In Motion Ltd. BlackBerry smartphones and more from Dell, the company said Thursday.
Switch to save money affects about 25,000 Dell employees, who are engaged in the field issued BlackBerry. Dell employs about 100,000 people around the world.
Dell is also launching tries to convince corporate customers to move the company's smartphone.
New projects of the company was first reported by The Wall Street Journal and confirmed by David Frink.Frink Dell spokesman said the change would be launched soon, but said it will take some time.
Dell BlackBerry users will be transferred using the new Dell Venue Pro, which runs on Microsoft Windows phone 7 software and operates the network of T-Mobile USA, the American arm of Deutsche Telekom AG.
Dell's decision to relocate employees from the BlackBerry could be a surprise for his efforts for the mobile market. The company has often talked about the use of handheld computers as a gateway to sell and promote a wider range of services.
Dell has officially entered the smartphone market only late last year and launched the first device in the U.S., Aero, earlier this year. Aero serves as the Android software from Google, because it is the new 5-inch film of Dell, Streak.

In the third quarter, RIM smartphone world market share has fallen more than 4 percentage points compared to last year, according to tracker IDC industry.
