Former Mount Rainier National Park Ranger Joe Puryear, noted for climbing in the Cascades, Alaska and throughout the world, died in an accident in a remote mountain in Tibet.
Park spokesman Kevin Bacher said notified via e-mail to a former forest ranger Mike Gauthier, who said he received a call early Wednesday described the incident.
