Andy Murray has insisted that it will be put to the test when he plays world number 46, Alexandr Dolgopolov for a place at the Australian Open last four.
British fifth seed - not yet lost a set in Melbourne this year - Dolgopolov plays in a game will be broadcast on Two and nnewsworld website.
"It is definitely unorthodox," said Murray Scotland. "He has a strange game.
"I'll be prepared for many changes of pace and some big winners. He is a talented guy."
The 23-year-old has yet to concede more than three games in one of his sets so far and admits he is in good shape when he tries to reach Melbourne final for the second consecutive year.
"I'm playing well," added the world number five. "The surface in this tournament is that I like. The court has good speed for me.
"Every game I started playing much better and I felt more comfortable in court.
"In the last match, could be the only thing I did was a little better when I came to the net a few times and did not play so well.
"If I keep hitting the ball so that the bottom of the field gives me a good shot against anyone. It 'was a very good start, but it's going much tougher."
Dolgopolov, the number 46 in the world, has its place in the quarter-finals with a shock 1-6 6-3 6-1 4-6 6-2 win fourth seed Robin Soderling.
22 year old, who reached the third round of the Australian Open in 2008, is now the first man in Ukraine to reach a large quarter-finals by Andrei Medvedev in 1999 Slam.
"This will undoubtedly be a difficult game because it stays in the demonstrations, which sees the ball very well," Dolgopolov.
"It is difficult to hit winners against him. This is a tough, physical game and I'll have to play very solid and got the kind of player.
"It does not give you any cheap points. He has a good service, and if you start playing slowly, it begins to turn the pace and winning hits. If you risk too much, you're missing. It is a bad player to play. "
The Murray is the third match on Rod Laver Arena - Petra Kvitova after playing Vera Zvonareva and Agnieszka Radwanska will be Kim Clijsters - the winner will face either world number one Rafael Nadal or David Ferrer, seventh in the semifinals.
